There’s no better way to celebrate summer baseball than with a little holiday magic. McKeesport Baseball Tournaments is proud to welcome teams back to beautiful Renziehausen Park for the 4th Annual McKeesport Christmas in July Tournament.

This festive event brings together competitive youth baseball and the fun, family-friendly atmosphere MBT is known for. Expect fields decked out in Christmas décor, a sound system playing all your favorite holiday classics, live announcers on every field, holiday-themed tournament photography, and our signature showstopper—the LARGEST Christmas-themed Championship Trophy in town.

Tournament Format & Competitive Balance

Christmas in July is an A/B-level tournament designed to create fair, competitive play for both community-based and club programs.

We understand how difficult it can be to classify teams in today’s travel baseball landscape. To ensure balance:

• Each division will accept up to 16 teams
• Divisions with 10+ teams will feature open pool play
• Separate Sunday elimination brackets will be used to maintain competitive integrity
• Each bracket will award 1st & 2nd place team trophies and individual awards

🚫 NO ELITE-LEVEL TEAMS

Tournament management reserves the right to remove any team deemed “elite” to protect the competitive balance of the event. If your team regularly competes in high-level open tournaments, this event may not be the right fit.
