## Chapter 9

### Baseball Season Meets Spooky Season

If you’re looking for the **ultimate way to close out your fall season**, Halloween Havoc is where baseball season meets spooky season. Join us for the **9th Annual McKeesport Halloween Havoc**, the **area’s original and most iconic Halloween-themed baseball tournament**, hosted by McKeesport Baseball Tournaments in Renzie “Haunted” Park.

Halloween Havoc is a **play-up tournament designed to prepare teams for the next season**, using the **5/01/27 age cutoff**.
Example: If your team plays **9U in Spring/Summer 2027**, you should register for **10U** at Halloween Havoc.

This tournament is built for fun *and* competition. Teams will enjoy Halloween-themed pre-game “coin toss” contests to determine home field, spooky music and live announcers on every field, and the **area’s LARGEST HALLOWEEN-THEMED TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY IN TOWN**.

### ⚾ Competitive Format & Team Levels

Halloween Havoc is an **A/B level tournament**.

We understand that fall baseball rosters are often incomplete compared to spring and summer, which is why we:

- Accept **12+ teams per division**
- Welcome both **community-based and club teams**
- Create **separate Sunday elimination brackets** when divisions reach 10+ teams to ensure competitive balance

Each elimination bracket will award:

- 1st & 2nd place team trophies
- Individual awards

#### 🚫 NO ELITE LEVEL TEAMS

The Tournament Director reserves the right to remove any team deemed “elite” to preserve competitive balance.
If your team regularly competes in **high-level open tournaments**, this event is **not the right fit**.

### 📣 Don’t Miss Out!

End your fall season with energy, creativity, and one last unforgettable weekend of baseball.
**Register early—this event fills quickly every year.**
