Each spring, our community comes together for something bigger than baseball. The 4th Annual Sean Sluganski Memorial SLUGFEST is a time to remember, honor, and celebrate the life and legacy of Sean Sluganski, a fallen hero who made the ultimate sacrifice for the City of McKeesport.
This tournament is rooted in gratitude and remembrance. While the games matter, the purpose matters more. We invite teams, families, and fans to join us for a weekend that blends meaningful community impact with the high-quality tournament experience you expect from McKeesport Baseball Tournaments.
This event is designed to feel special from the first pitch to the final trophy lift:
Itβs a full-experience weekend, thoughtfully organized and competitively priced. Simply put, you will not find a better tournament experience for the cost.
This is an OPEN tournament, welcoming teams of all skill levels.
Space is limited due to field capacity, so early registration is strongly encouraged.
While competition is part of the game, we ask teams to approach this weekend with a slightly different mindset. Focus on early-season repetitions, sportsmanship, and community. Winning and losing take a back seat to honoring a hero and supporting something meaningful.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the McKeesport Fallen Heroes Scholarship Fund, established in Seanβs memory. This fund provides financial support to local students pursuing careers in public safety, ensuring his legacy continues to protect and serve future generations.
We are deeply grateful for every team that chooses to take part.
