The McKeesport K-9 Unit is independently supported and maintained by volunteers, donations, and fundraisers like K-9 Classic. Each of the K-9 officers need regular care - just like their human partners - in order to have the proper nutrition, get quality downtime, continue to have the latest training, and have regular medical visits to ensure they are serving at their best. Because all of those things take a good amount of time, effort, and money, the K-9 Unit partners with McKeesport Baseball Tournaments to cover as many costs as possible.
