Miss Jen here, reporting live from the kitchen in The Home Plate Snack Bar & Grill, where the fryers are hot, the drinks are always cold, and love is put into every pump of cheese. If you’ve ever wondered what makes The Home Plate tick, pull up a folding chair and let me give you the behind-the-scenes scoop. This isn’t just a concession stand. *It’s a fully-operational food-flinging, spirit-boosting, community-loving command center that just happens to smell like French fries and cheese burgers.* The reality? I think about this stand all the time. Like… weirdly often. I dream up menus in the while walking the dog. I design workflows in my car. I wake up at 3am with ideas about signage and crowd control. Why? Because this place is more than a side hustle. It’s a *heartbeat*. The Home Plate was built with intention - from how we organize the condiment station to how we greet every fan like they’re walking into a hometown diner. We aren’t just handing out ice cream. We’re replenishing tired parents, hungry players, wide-eyed siblings, and seasoned umpires who just need a hot dog and Gatorade to fuel their next game. We prep for each tournament weekend like Opening Day of the LLWS. Systems? *Locked in.* Staff? *Trained and hyped.* Backup plans? *Always on deck.* Because when you love what you do - and who you do it for - it shows up with main character energy. So whether you're here for a hot bite, a cool drink, or just a quick laugh, you’re already part of The Home Plate story. And we’re so happy to see you. Play ball. Eat well. See ya soon! Love always, 💛 Miss Jen ![Breakfast Menu K-9 Classic](https://playmbt.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Breakfast%20Menu%20K-9%20Classic.png?width=938&height=725&name=Breakfast%20Menu%20K-9%20Classic.png) ![Cashless Payment and Venmo QR](https://playmbt.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Cashless%20Payment%20and%20Venmo%20QR.png?width=938&height=725&name=Cashless%20Payment%20and%20Venmo%20QR.png) ![2025 Gen Ops Menu FINAL](https://playmbt.com/hs-fs/hubfs/2025%20Gen%20Ops%20Menu%20FINAL.png?width=938&height=725&name=2025%20Gen%20Ops%20Menu%20FINAL.png) [![Share on facebook](https://7528309.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/7528309/hubfs/raw_assets/public/mV0_d-web-default-modules_hubspot/img/facebook-color.png?width=24&name=facebook-color.png)](https://www.facebook.com/McKBaseballTournaments) [![Share on pinterest](https://7528311.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/7528311/hubfs/raw_assets/public/mV0_d-web-default-modules_hubspot/img/pinterest-color.png?width=24&name=pinterest-color.png)](https://www.pinterest.com/mckballtournaments/) [![Share on email](https://7528311.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/7528311/hubfs/raw_assets/public/mV0_d-web-default-modules_hubspot/img/email-color.png?width=24&name=email-color.png)](https://playmbt.com/en-us/the-rundown-blog/missjen@playMBT.com)   [![Banana BananZa - 560x315](https://48617967.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/48617967/hubfs/Banana%20BananZa%20-%20560x315.png?width=1200&length=1200&name=Banana%20BananZa%20-%20560x315.png)](https://playmbt.com/event-schedule) [![K-9 - Small](https://48617967.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/48617967/hubfs/K-9%20-%20Small.png?width=1200&length=1200&name=K-9%20-%20Small.png)](https://playmbt.com/en-us/the-rundown-blog/k-9-classic-is-full-of-unforgettable-baseball-legendary-fun) [![Rumble - Small](https://48617967.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/48617967/hubfs/Rumble%20-%20Small.png?width=1200&length=1200&name=Rumble%20-%20Small.png)](https://playmbt.com/event-schedule) [![Helen Richey - Small](https://48617967.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/48617967/hubfs/Helen%20Richey%20-%20Small.png?width=1200&length=1200&name=Helen%20Richey%20-%20Small.png)](https://playmbt.com/event-schedule) [![Dinger - Small](https://48617967.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/48617967/hubfs/Dinger%20-%20Small.png?width=1200&length=1200&name=Dinger%20-%20Small.png)](https://playmbt.com/event-schedule) [![Havoc - Small](https://48617967.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/48617967/hubfs/Havoc%20-%20Small.png?width=1200&length=1200&name=Havoc%20-%20Small.png)](https://playmbt.com/event-schedule) [![Christmas 1 - Small](https://48617967.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/48617967/hubfs/Christmas%201%20-%20Small.png?width=1200&length=1200&name=Christmas%201%20-%20Small.png)](https://playmbt.com/event-schedule) [![Christmas 2 - Small](https://48617967.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/48617967/hubfs/Christmas%202%20-%20Small.png?width=1200&length=1200&name=Christmas%202%20-%20Small.png)](https://playmbt.com/event-schedule) STAY OUT OF A PICKLE ⚾️ READ THE BLOG ## THE RUNDOWN [![Baseball fields at Renziehausen Park set up for a McKeesport Baseball Tournaments event on a sunny day](https://playmbt.com/hubfs/6.png)](https://playmbt.com/en-us/the-rundown-blog/first-timers-guide-to-an-mbt-event) [First-Timers Guide to an MBT Event](https://playmbt.com/en-us/the-rundown-blog/first-timers-guide-to-an-mbt-event) [Miss Jen](https://playmbt.com/en-us/the-rundown-blog/author/miss-jen) Everything You Need to Know Without the Overwhelm If this is your first baseball tournament weekend with MBT, let’s ...
