because McKeesport Baseball Tournaments is going bananas this summer! From August 1st–3rd, Renzie Park will transform into the wildest baseball venue this side of the jungle for our very first Banana BananZa Tournament. Whether your squad is seasoned and LOOKIN' for some K's, or just here for the snacks, this one’s all about fun, flair, and fruity chaos.
Say goodbye to the MBT's usual tournament format and hello to Banana Ball - the zaniest twist on America’s favorite pastime you’ve ever seen. Think music, dancing, banana-themed treats, and quirky rules designed to even the playing field and crank the energy up to 11.

What's Different?
Let’s talk about those gloriously weird Banana Ball rules that make this the most unique baseball experience your team will ever play:
🍌 Win the inning, win the point.
Each inning = one point. Most runs that inning? Boom, you score a point. Last inning? Every run counts!
🍌 No stepping out.
Step out of the box? That’s a strike. Eyes on the prize, slugger.
🍌 Bunting is banned.
Bunting = boring. Automatic out. Dead play. Sorry, small-ball fans.
🍌 Steal first base?!
Yup. Any passed ball or wild pitch? Take off like a banana rocket.
🍌 Walks turn into sprints.
On ball four, the batter runs while the infield must ALL touch the ball before it becomes live.
Chaos? Encouraged. 👍🏻
🍌 No mound visits.
Coaches, stay chill. Pitchers'll figure it out on the fly.
🍌 Fan catches a foul ball? That’s an OUT.
Time to get those hands ready, family and fans!
🍌 Golden Batter Rule.
Call in your heavy hitter ONCE per game - anytime, anywhere. Use it wisely.
🍌 First base coach? Must be the last out - and helmeted.
No more lazy standing around, Coach Dad. First Base shall be staffed by a fellow player.
🍌 Tiebreaker Showdowns.
If it's tied at the time limit, get ready for the ultimate standoff with wild 1v1 (and 1v3!) sudden death battles.
