While we were all geared up for a great weekend of baseball, Mother Nature had other plans. Still, we hope your weekend brought a little joy - even if it didn’t include the sound of bats cracking, smell the hot dogs grilling, and the excitement of fans cheering in beautiful + historic Renzie Park.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding as we navigated the weather. As you know, this year’s SLUGFEST was organized to benefit the McKeesport Fallen Heroes Scholarship Fund, honoring Officer Sean "Slug" Sluganski. Your support helps local students pursue careers in public safety - and even though the games didn’t happen, the impact of this event still shines through.

Refund or Transfer? Your Choice!
Teams can receive a full refund (minus a 10% admin fee) or transfer to another spring/summer MBT tournament at no extra cost. For refunds, electronic payments will be credited back within 3-5 business days; mailed check refunds require a little more information - please send Ed an email at emoslander@plyMBT.com as soon as possible.

Just announced—our Banana BananZa tournament is coming to McKeesport August 1–3 for 9U–12U teams! Expect a wild, wacky, unforgettable weekend of baseball fun. Want to transfer your SLUGFEST registration to Banana BananZa? Let us know ASAP - spots are limited, and it’s first come, first served!

Have a taste for pumpkins instead of bananas? You can also apply your tournament credit to our ever-popular Halloween Havoc this October. Please note: Halloween Havoc transfers will need to pay the difference in registration fees.
